Project Presentation
The project began with a meeting between the students of Terminale vocational baccalauréat Merchandising Visuel and 2nd year students and the involved partners: Formes & Fonctions, Petite Ruche, and La Galerie. This initial session, held at the high school on October 17 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, established the project’s foundations and defined the objectives to be achieved.
Project Design
Throughout October and November, the students worked on designing the furniture and developing technical plans in close collaboration with Formes & Fonctions. These discussions enabled them to refine their proposals based on the beneficiaries’ needs.
Co-Design Workshops
To tailor the furniture to specific uses, three co-design workshops were organized in collaboration with the beneficiaries of Petite Ruche. These sessions allowed the students to create models and technical plans while gathering valuable feedback from the beneficiaries.
Visit to La Galerie
A visit to La Galerie was arranged to give the students the opportunity to explore the contemporary art center, view the current exhibition, and meet with professionals specializing in production management and scenography.
Final Exhibition
The students’ work will be showcased in an educational exhibition at La Galerie in June 2025, highlighting the achievements and providing a platform for further discussion about the project.
Student Engagement
This project offered the students a concrete and engaging experience in the field of social design and co-design, making a real impact on the beneficiaries.
