Lectures are taught in a full class, combining the two courses (materials and events). Tutorials are taught on the basis of a reduced class of 15 students. This is the case for all courses in the Creative Workshop division.
For workshops, courses are standardized for several half-days each month. In addition to all these hours, students have 15 hours of autonomy during which they can do research, and have time to enhance their culture, and develop their personal or collaborative work, etc.

REDIMADE (Network of Schools of Île de France, Crafts and Design) is the Network of Schools of Île de France, Crafts and Design. It gathers 4 establishments: Sainte-Geneviève, L’Initiative, Claude-Nicolas Ledoux and L’Assomption-Bondy. It is organized around shared creative workshops for DNMADe students. Each student follows two specific workshops. Each workshop takes place over 3 consecutive sessions in one of the establishments.
Major: Product – Services and Uses.
Minor: Textile, new materials related to recycling and recovery.
The Materials program gives priority to the exploitation and valorization of local resources, by proposing a reflection on the rational use of materials in the fields of design and arts. The issues related to limited natural resources, waste management and their revalorisation, re-use, new uses will be privileged.
The Materials program also aims at acquiring practical and theoretical know-how in order to be able to meet material and immaterial needs (services and uses). The exploratory and creative skills allow students to propose, within collaborative and multidisciplinary projects, innovative responses in product design, service design or textile design.
Major: Space – Ephemeral and Perennial Spatial Devices.
Minor: Graphic design, visual communication.
The Events program aims to acquire a dual competence in space design and graphic design.
It is about training future designers specialized in the creation of ephemeral or perennial spaces combined with graphic design and visual communication skills. Learning digital tools and languages, in conjunction with the specialty, enhances the creative process and promotes the emergence of innovative and concise ideas. Societal and environmental issues are widely discussed. The student develops exploratory skills that allow him to find bi- and three-dimensional solutions adapted to various situations and contexts.
Admission is based on academic record and motivated project. Applicants with previous personal experience in applied arts or art practice are advised to attach a link to a digital book or send a printed A4 file to the institution.
