What is DNMADe ?

The National Diploma of Arts and Design (DNMADe) at l’Assomption-Bondy is a state-controlled bachelor’s degree. Replacing MANAA or BTS applied arts, it trains students in creative trades. The Assomption-Bondy school offers a DNAMA mention Social Innovation. This concept places human, societal and environmental issues at the centre of training.

Social innovation: commitment at the heart of studies

The DNMADe Innovation Sociale trains future designers engaged in social and political thinking. They will be able to propose innovative solutions to societal problems.

Social innovation is the development of new ideas, products or services that address current issues (social, environmental, political). The main objective is to create a positive impact in many fields of action such as health, education, culture, public action, territorial development or humanitarian actions. Often working closely with the users or stakeholders involved, social designers ensure that solutions are tailored to their needs and are socially responsible.

Combining arts, materials, design thinking and innovation, the DNMADe Social Innovation is committed to developing in our future designers, conceptual and prospective capacities to better analyse the dysfunctions of our contemporary lifestyles and propose creative and constructive alternatives.
